Right now we are still in France, wrapping up our semester. As we prepare to return to our respective colleges and lives we want to have a space to continue our friendships and share all of the beautiful things we love. The blog blossomed out of this wish.
The basic idea behind the Fountain Pen Society is a book club. Especially since our favorite café is also the most wonderful book store in Caen-- the town where we studied this semester-- and consequently where we passed most of our time outside of school.
Each month, we will be reading a new book. We'll share that book with you all and hope that you keep up with our progress. Each week one of us will post about our thoughts. There will always be a post about the book, but also expect some random life-sharing/finals-freak-outs/I-need-coffee moments throughout the life of our blog.
Finally we will share a wrap-up post summarizing the month with a discussion of the book and build off of what one another posts, opening it up to you.
We want you to become part of our group throughout all of this. Share your thoughts, your comments, and your friendship with us as we try to navigate our post-France and book-plenty worlds.
